Why do I get the same affirmation all day?
By design. The pick is seeded by today's date, your mood and your theme, so it stays stable from morning to night. Sitting with one line for a whole day is what makes an affirmation stick — and tomorrow brings a new one.
What does "Surprise me" do?
It matches the theme to your mood: stressed and anxious lead to calm, tired leads to sleep, unmotivated leads to focus, grateful leads to gratitude, restless leads to healing, and low leads to self-love.
How does the streak work?
Each day you visit, your streak grows by one; miss a day and it restarts at one. It is stored only in your browser (localStorage) — there is no account and nothing is sent anywhere.
Can I download my affirmation as an image?

Does copying the text add any branding?
No. Copy Text copies only the affirmation itself — no site name, no link, no extra words. The downloaded PNG carries a small site watermark at the bottom, which is how people who see your card can find the tool.

Yes. Every line in the collection was written for Whispers of the Stars — over 450 affirmations across eight themes. They are written in the present tense, in the first person, and deliberately free of hype or promises.
Can an affirmation actually change how I feel?

Why does a different mood give me a different card on the same day?
Because the pick is seeded by date, mood and theme together. Changing any one of them changes the seed — which is the honest way to explore the collection while keeping each combination stable for the day.
Do I need an account or an email address?

What happens to my data?
Nothing leaves your browser. The only thing stored is your streak counter, in your own browser's local storage, and clearing your browser data clears it.
